In 2009 the JamesLong Gardens were opened for a benefit to the Lane Community College Garden Tour. Over 1,000 people toured the gardens.

Late Fall of 2006, was a trip to Hawaii for the 2006 American Bamboo Association Convention. You can go to the Travels page for a movie.
